About Mindi AbairOriginally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Mindi Abair moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. She was discovered playing saxophone acapella on the street in Santa Monica, and moved on to establish herself as a notable sideperson for artists such as Mandy Moore, Jonathan Butler, Lee Ritenour, Bobby Lyle, Adam Sandler, Keb' Mo' and the Backstreet Boys. More recently, Mindi opened for Josh Groban on his 2004 sold out fall tour, and "sat in" with 80's pop icons Duran Duran for a portion of their last American Tour.
