Dave Koz IS Smooth Jazz

Dave Koz lets music expressively speak for his life. His rich musical interests vary from an initial R&B/Pop sound which caught listener's ears with his smooth saxophone instrumentals to a more earthy feeling, evolving into an even more introspective personalized instrumentation. He views his music as a personal adventure, following his soul and inner heart sounds through hip hop and gospel, all the way to a flowing, friendly smooth jazz style which reflects his love of collaboration in the creation of his sounds of music.

Koz is a three time Grammy nominated saxophonist and composer establishing himself as a world-renowned multi-million selling solo recording artist and humanitarian. He also is the co-founder Rendezvous Entertainment, an independent record company headquartered in Los Angeles.

His pure sax sound has augmented an impressive list of artists including Burt Barcharach, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Celine Dion, Vanessa Williams, Be Be Winans, U2 and many others. He is the recipient of numerous nominations and honors from prestigious organizations such as The Recording Academy (Grammy Awards), the NAACP (Image Awards) and Oasis (Smooth Jazz Awards).

Smooth Jazz Radio IS DKRS

The Dave Koz Radio Show is a two hour program that invites your listeners to join Dave and the biggest artists in the business. Dave features special interviews and music from Anita Baker, Vanessa Williams, Wayman Tisdale, Kirk Whalum, Warren Hill, Michael McDonald and fellow sax player Euge Groove.

In almost 10 years of syndication, DKRS is heard on close to 90 stations nationwide, including WQCD/New York, KTWV/Los Angeles, WNUA/Chicago, WJJZ/Philadelphia, and KKSF/San Francisco.
